ROLE - Mechanical Assembler

LOCATION - Hertfordshire

TERM - Permanent

SALARY- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures bespoke products and machinery and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Assembler. This is a permanent position, based in Hertfordshire.


The Mechanical Assembler will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Experienced with Mechanical build and assembly
  • A sound understanding of Engineering processes and materials
  • Ideally experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
  • Handson technical experience
  • Able to work to specific requirements and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture

The Mechanical Assembler role will involve:

  • Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
  • Travelling to customer sites and understanding requirements
  • Developing quotations
  • Handson Engineering
  • Working to project specifications and deadlines
  • Participating in technical training
  • Being involved in different manufacturing processes
  • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
