Salary £35,000

I am currently working with a provider of children's residential care to recruit a Deputy Manager for their children's home home based in Biggleswade, caring for Children and Young People with learning difficulties, autism and other challenging behaviours.

In this role you will;

Work with the Manager to support the home through procedures, policies and activities engaged in to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for the child or young person they are responsible for.
Support the existing staff team to ensure positive outcomes for the children they support
Work with the Manager to continuously develop the home to achieve and maintain Outstanding with OFSTED

To be successful in this role you will have;

Supervisory experienced within a home for children and young people with LD/ EBD/ Complex Needs
Hold a NVQ level 3 in children and young people
Be passionate about delivering outstanding care
Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures and best practice in caring for looked after children
