Conveyor Belt Vulcaniser

Based from Chesterfield


Travelling to work sites from the Chesterfield base is required on a daily basis, a work van will be provided with full insurance and fuel/travel time paid.

Hourly rate £10-£15 depending on experience (higher evening/weekend rate accordingly)

Flexibility is essential as we offer a 24/7 breakdown service and generally work most Saturdays

This role includes maintaining, servicing and fitting of conveyor belts at customer sites.

Previous vulcanising experience advantageous but not essential as on the job training is ongoing.

  • Applicants with mechanical or engineering experience desirable
  • Basic mathematical knowledge is essential as the job requires measuring and mathematical equations
  • Full and Valid Driving licence is essential
  • Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Undertake training and development when required
  • Maintain a punctual consistent attendance and professional appearance
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety laws and policies
Full equipment and PPE is provided by the company


Salary:
£10.00-£15.00 per hour
