Description

Withington Golf Club is looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant to join their small, friendly team.

Set within the stunning Mersey Valley, with lush tree-lined fairways and responsive greens,
Withington Golf Club is widely regarded as one the finest 18-hole parkland golf courses in the Manchester and Cheshire area.

It is also a friendly club enjoyed by over 500 members numerous golf societies, visitors, and those attending private functions.

The role will be varied.

You will be required work on the bar serving drinks to our members and guests during our normal opening hours and events.

You will also be required to assist our catering team with kitchen tasks, such as food service, prep and washing up.

You will provide a high standard of customer service to everyone attending the club.

Requirements:

The position requires a flexible approach to working hours and will involve evenings and weekends.
You will be well presented, outgoing and friendly.
Experience of working in a bar is required.
Experience of working in a kitchen with a level 2 food hygiene qualification, is desirable but not essential.
You will be able to work as part of a team as well as alone.

Duties

Serving Drinks
Taking orders for food and drink
Assisting in the kitchen (food service and prep)
Setting up rooms and tables for events
Ensuring members and guests have a positive experience of the club at all times

The role will likely consist of around 1-2 shifts a week during the summer months, but could be more depending on events and levels of cover required.
