We are looking for a Logistics Co-Ordinator

Specific
Responsibilities

Logistics Co-Ordinator

Take delivery of goods and supplies
Check for damaged or missing items
Store goods appropriately
Prepare orders for despatch
Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
Carry out stock counts as and when required
Keep paperwork up to date
Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
To assist in the achievement of site, group and company objectives and KPI's
Creating despatch paperwork and ensuring all POD's are in place to support audits
Raising works orders as and when required
To ensure all documents relating to supply chain process are retained in accordance with the company's quality requirements
Effectively communicate informed risks within the business to key stakeholders
Additional tasks necessary to support the function of the department
Filing and general administration

The starting rate of pay is £10.50, which moves to £11.00 after successful 3 months

Working a 40 hour week

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday - 08:00 - 14:00
