Background


Halls is one of the most respected independent firms of Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers, Valuers and Estate Agents with 8 offices and 2 Livestock Markets covering Shropshire, Worcestershire, Mid-Wales, West Midlands and neighbouring counties.

We offer a wide range of services to a varied client base.


Due to our rapid growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team based at our Head Office in Shrewsbury.

We undertake to work in a diverse range of areas including land and property management, valuation, property agency and environmental grant schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing department within a successful and well-respected company.


Responsibilities

  • Audiotype and copy type, mainly but not limited to, rural property and land valuations and land management agreements.
  • Answer and make telephone calls.
  • Manage client files.
  • Be proactive in supporting the team to manage a diverse workload.
  • Provide administrative support as and when required.

Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Ability to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is provided at all times.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite with the confidence to learn other computerbased programmes and systems
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good initiative
  • Agricultural knowledge and experience are a bonus, but not essential
