£13.30 per hour | Temporary contract | Hybrid Exeter
A fast-growing tech company based in Exeter, are seeking to recruit an Accounts assistant on a temporary basis.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will ensure financial records are kept up to date and assist in the preparation of financial reports as required.

This is a hybrid role, with access to the Exeter office. The temporary contract is required for 1-2 months.


Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:


  • Support the account function on a daily basis
  • Perform purchase ledger and sales ledger activities
  • Preparing bank payments
  • Reconciliations
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Accounts Assistant Requirements:


  • A minimum of 2 years general accounts experience
  • AAT qualification or part qualified
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and advanced formulas
  • Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP software would be advantageous
