The RoleWe're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Dev Enablement team, where you'll help empower product engineers to deliver high-quality code faster and more reliably. You'll build systems that improve developer productivity, streamline CI/CD, and enhance infrastructure efficiency, while leading through technical excellence, collaboration, and mentorship.

RequirementsResponsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, and Kubernetes.

Standardise and enforce platform engineering practices across environments (development, staging, production).

Collaborate with developers to enhance development workflows and reduce friction in delivery pipelines.

Own and evolve test automation strategies and tools used across engineering teams.

Contribute to strategic technical direction and roadmap discussions for your team and platform area.

Support and lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and postmortems.

Document and evangelise internal tools and best practices to ensure wide adoption.

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset

Strong software engineering experience, including backend development in languages like C#, Python, or TypeScript.

Hands‐on experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation in AWS environments.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Helm, and GitOps practices.

Experience managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, Lambda, S3, EKS, and Control Tower.

Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus).

Excellent problem‐solving skills and ability to lead the resolution of complex technical challenges.

Experience mentoring and supporting other engineers within a team.

Desirable skills

Experience in performance optimisation and stress testing distributed systems.

Knowledge of cloud cost optimisation strategies.

Exposure to integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
