To deliver, support and develop the Academy activities ensuring that high quality standards of teaching, learning and achievement are delivered and experienced.

SALARY:
£20,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on role, qualifications and experience


WORKING HOURS:
Full time (There will be some evenings, weekends and accommodation stay required)

The Role:


Main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high quality teaching, training and assessment for learners studying in the occupational areas of Beauty Therapy, Spa and Wellbeing industries
• Taking ownership of the full learning journey and deliver the all relevant components of the mode of study, inclusive of apprenticeships
• Responsibility within the team for IQA of relevant qualifications.

Key accountabilities will include:

• To assess accurately individual training needs and to design individual training programmes to achieve planned outcomes within defined timescales in line with Academies processes and procedures
• To work effectively within the academic and operational teams, in promoting employer engagement and assisting teams in meeting relevant targets

Duties include:

• To plan teaching, learning and assessment of programmes using the appropriate Academy, awarding body or apprenticeship formats to ensure effective learning.
• To deliver teaching and learning to a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
• To assess accurately learners, work both formatively and summatively against appropriate criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications and apprenticeship standards
• To comply with all the Academies quality assurance procedures as prescribed to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits.
• To use all appropriate resources effectively to ensure that the learners' experience results in positive learning outcomes in a safe, stimulating and healthy environment
• To support learners progress through personal tutoring to help learners achieve their full potential and progress appropriately
• To comply with curriculum delivery needs, meeting the appropriate learning hours and standards expected against Inspection & Charter standards, awarding body and funding guidance
• To comply with relevant Health and Safety regulations for the professional vocational area in practical sessions and at all times in the executing of your role
• To contribute to reports, evaluations and any necessary documentation to be developed in the course of the business of the Academy, inclusive of such reports for the Education authorities or Partners
