Field Service Engineer - Birmingham

34-40k OTE 46K, annual company profit share. 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays 6% Pension, mobile and company estate car or van.


This major international provider of industrial process heating equipment are looking for a resilient, technically minded Field Service Engineer with great communication skills.

The role will require extensive travel from home to various sites within a 100 mile radius.

As a Field Service Engineer your role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • To maintain, service and repair break downs on Industrial steam boilers, Thermal fluid heaters, Heat recovery systems, Industrial burners etc.
  • To liaise with site managers and engineering managers to diagnose and then promptly and effectively fix the problem.
  • Commissioning and Installation of Industrial steam boilers, Thermal Fluid Heaters, Heat recovery systems and Industrial burners.
  • Extensive travel most engineers average 3 days away per week
  • Experienced in both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
  • Ideally worked on Combustion systems.
  • Gas Safe certified (CCN1 minimum)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
