**Network Engineer
Remote**
Up to £50,000


TechNet IT are currently working with a well-known arm of the government who are looking for a Network Engineer to join the team.

You will need a positive attitude with a sense of ambition, alongside experience as a Network Engineer.

Some of what you will be doing:

  • Implementing, managing and supporting network solutions in a demanding 24/7 environment
  • Incident resolution, requests, changes and problemsolving activities delivered to agreed SLA
  • Installing and maintaining network infrastructure


  • Supporting Cloud operation

  • Azure/AWS
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Anti-Virus software
  • Firewalls
  • LAN cabling
  • Cisco LAN/WAN
  • SMTP Edge Gateway
  • VPN concepts
  • Understanding of PSN COCO and related security standards
  • Understanding of Palo Alto Next Gen firewalls
  • Wireless networking concepts
