Business Development Director - Pensions Consulting

Remote Working

Permanent

37.5 hours per week

£110,000 per annum, plus additional benefits

Here at Tate, we have partnered with a well-known consulting, transformation & digital services business, to recruit a Business Development Director (Pensions) on a permanent employment basis.

This role is home based, with occasional travel into Central London.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, this person in this role will represent the business and be the market face for the Pensions division, working in collaboration with the Marketing team to identify and maximise market profile, represent growth and supportthe wider business planning, strategy and teams across the business.


As a Business Development Director, you will:

  • Develop and deliver an integrated growth strategy, which is focused on driving revenue and new customer growth.
  • Achieve agreed sales (revenue) targets including IYR, TCV and qualified pipeline growth.
  • Lead the endtoend sales cycle for qualified specific opportunities on the pipeline. This includes engaging with prospects to bring opportunities to market, creating a compelling and competitive proposal and closing the deal in collaboration with commercialcolleagues.
  • Originating new logo growth via the development of strategic relationships for key opportunities
  • Ensuring business opportunities are maximised and the target market is aware of our service proposition
  • Ensuring the Pensions Consulting brand name is prominent by attendance at seminars and Industry Events, as well as maintaining positive relationships with relevant third parties.
  • Identify client/market needs and trends and where necessary suggest product change or improvement
  • Working with the senior leadership team to ensure product pricing is correct

What we're looking for:


  • Senior Business Development expertise at C suite level
  • Comprehensive understanding of Pensions and Benefits and up to date with legislation and market changes.
  • Can develop and update sales strategy and work with colleagues to develop propositions.
  • Has warm and productive relationships with key market influencers in the Pensions and Benefits industry
  • Can present as a powerful influencer for internal and external audiences and articulate points effectively
  • Maintains an in depth understanding of market pricing and competitor activity
  • Proven track record of delivering new business and operating unit growth in line with business strategy
  • Able to work in a crosssector/multidisciplinary environment, including ability to develop value propositions and client relationship management
  • Formulate a clear strategy to help the company respond to change and shape the future, mapping the steps that will clearly accelerate the organisation toward its strategic goals
