Caretaker - Milton Hospice, CB24 6AB

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Occasional weekends may be required *_

Permanent Contract

Salary £21,000 - £23,000 per annum, dependant on experience & qualifications

We have an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker with energy and enthusiasm to join our team and support the maintenance, repair and safety of our Milton Hospice

Are you:


  • A systematic, practical and driven individual who is able to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Confident with hands on work and problem solving.

Do you have:


  • A strong understanding of construction works and processes, with competencies in carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • A keen eye for detail and exacting personal standards.

Responsibilities include:


  • General building maintenance
  • Planned preventative measures
  • Reactive repairs
  • Safety inspections and compliance

The role:


  • As a caretaker at EACH, you'll be committed to providing a high standard of interior and exterior maintenance at Milton hospice. Working with our Facilities Site Manager you will also be responsible for ensuring essential maintenance, repair and health and safety tasks are carried out.
