Cybersecurity Engineer | London | Paying up to £70,000

Lynx recruitment have partnered with a Global IT consultancy that are looking for a qualified Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team.
The Cybersecurity Engineer will pay an integral part in ensuring that all systems are securely implemented and maintained.

You will also need to have a strong awareness of the cybersecurity threat landscape, firewalls and boundary controls coupled with excellenttroubleshooting and investigation skills.


  • You will act as an escalation point for Cybersecurity incidents and will need to be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Cybersecurity landscape to support the Chief Information Security Officer as well as to develop cybersecurity awarenessmaterials for the organisation.
  • Act as an advisor to upper management in Cybersecurity related matters, and ensure that security improvement designs are evaluated, validated, and implemented as required.
  • Perform cyber defence incident triage to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact and identifying the specific vulnerability.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Operating Systems, Cloud technology and automation pipelines
  • Technical security knowledge and exposure to relevant technical architecture, environments, platforms, software industry and business practices.
  • Experience of collaborating with multiple 3rd parties
  • A curiosity about emerging risk assessment approaches and next generation security functions and approaches.
