Energy Consultant London
£32k - £45k pa + Bonus scheme Permanent / Full Time

Reports to:
Principal Energy Consultant

Location:
Home-based with some UK travel

Education and Experience

  • Recognised degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in energy and/or environmental management
Characteristics

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
  • Strong numerate, analytically, and problemsolving skills
  • High level of motivation and ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi task
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
General Objectives

  • Deliver energy and sustainability services to customers
  • Identify opportunities and proactively promote Energy and Net Zero projects and services
  • Ensure key deliverable are met, including achievement of budgetary targets and customer satisfaction
  • Ongoing review of processes and systems to ensure operations are working efficiently within the team

Job Description:


  • Deliver energy management assignments
  • Carry out bespoke energy and feasibility surveys
  • Implement utility reduction and other utilityrelated projects
  • Manage and/or support customers in managing carbon and emissions management schemes
  • Identify further business opportunities within the customer portfolio
  • General:
  • Establish good working relationships with suppliers and service providers
  • Maintain awareness of developments within the energy/utilities and ESG marketplace
  • Comply with the company's ISO 9001:2015 accredited Documented Management System (DMS), ISO 50001:2018 accredited Energy Management System (EnMS) and B Corp accreditation requirements
  • Represent company in a professional manner at all times
  • Communicate effectively and openly with all levels of staff within company and customer'sorganisations
