The Hope & Anchor is a beautiful riverside pub, restaurant & inn nestled in the heart of Ross-On-Wye with multiple dining options for customers including a traditional pub bar and a modern cocktail bar, two restaurants, a riverside hut serving those on the go, and a spacious garden with outdoor seating including a Bandstand and all-weather tent area, both of which can house entertainment.

We also have 12 beautiful recently refurbished riverside en-suite rooms available, with breakfast included and served in the pub.

Having joined the Country House Weddings portfolio in 2020, we are backed by over 30 years of experience when it comes to catering, customer service, and event planning and management.

What we expect for You "The Role" - Bar Team Members

To assist the Bar Supervisor / Managers as required, with all duties set out below
To deliver bar and drinks service in a timely and efficient manner
To promote the excellent service provided at our venue
To deal with customers in an efficient and friendly manner
To participate in all preparation, cleaning down and all bar duties
To ensure that all areas are left clean and tidy
To ensure the smooth running of each service and any events, maintaining high standards and acting as an ambassador for Country House Weddings Ltd at all times
To carry out any other duties as and when required by the FOH Managers, General Manager/Venue Manager
Ensuring the safety of the building and the people in it with full awareness of health and safety procedures and operating at all times in accordance with your employer's health and safety policy

Experience not essential, but desirable. Full Training will be provided as well as Allergen, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Training

Over 18's ONLY due to alcohol service

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 8-40 per week

Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour

Benefits:
