Based in Paddington, West London and working for this Growing Company whilst Reporting to the Finance Manager the primary focus of this Accounts Assistant role is the processing of the purchase ledger invoices for the Company, raising customer invoices and the completion of Bank Reconciliations.

The role will work closely with the other members of the Finance Team.


Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant Role include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • responsible for multi-currency purchase ledger for the Group, processing invoices in AX12 (shortly to be replaced) and Xero. Ensuring invoices are signed off correctly, compile payment runs and set up the payments. Working closely with our HK office.
  • Managing and inputting manual expenses including company credit cards. Ensuring appropriate receipts are provided and querying transactions with other team members.
  • Sales ledger, liaising with our HK office, in order to raise customer invoices in a timely manner. Raising any customer payment issues internally.
  • Completing Bank reconciliations for GBP, USD and Euro.
  • Assisting with month end process. Closing AP and SL promptly at the end of the month as well as reconciling bank accounts.
  • Assisting with other month end tasks depending on experience.
  • Opportunity to become involved with other areas of Finance depending on experience and drive.


The successful Accounts Assistant will have at least 2 years Accounts Payable experience, a confident Excel user, an AAT studier would be desirable and in return you will receive a salary c£32k.

Support for further qualifications could be consider. The role can be Hybrid with 3 days working in Paddington and 2 days WFH.
