Our client operates in the logistics sector and is looking for a graduate to join their ever growing team to operate as a
trainee freight forwarder.

This person would be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of freight (ALL MODES OF TRANSPORT), maintain timely communication with customers and suppliers and ensure to deliver exceptional levels of customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:

Organise, coordinate and follow up international freight transportation, via all modes
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
Interact with our customers, airlines, hauliers and overseas partners to ensure the completion of each shipment in accordance with the individual customers requirements
Contribute to maintain strong relationships with all suppliers
Perform a true 'End to End' solution for our customers, from the initial shipment quote (where required) through to delivery and invoicing
Prepare customs declarations in line with guidelines and submit to HMRC in a timely manner
Ensure to retain and store all shipment documentation and correspondence on our internal system, to maintain our compliance with HMRC and other Regulatory bodies
Ensure compliance with all legislation on freight movements
