Avove is a new, independent utilities infrastructure business, formed from the utilities division of leading infrastructure services company, Amey.
We design, build and maintain the UK's utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better.

We are proud to work in partnership with our clients, including Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power.


The Role:

Due to a retirement within the team, we are looking for recruit an Operational Support Administrator.

This is a part time administrator role working 22.5 hours per week Monday - Friday and will be based in our Oswestry office.

You will be working closely with the management team supporting them in delivering contracts to the client.


Responsibilities:


  • Raising Purchase Orders PPE, stationery & various items, forwarding them to appropriate vendor, sending them for receipt.
  • Inputting holidays
  • Looking after the maintenance of plant & trailers, liaising with lease companies, updating services & inspections.
  • Transport, updating mileages on spreadsheet, booking services & mots.
  • Liaising with our training department re booking of courses and updating Training Spreadsheet.
  • Maintaining personnel files
  • Booking Traffic Management for operational teams
  • Other office duties, answering phones etc.

Skills & Experience:


  • Experience in working with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft teams.
  • Good phone manner
  • Able to work as part of team and use own initiative.
