We are The Bridge Renewal Trust, a community-based charity that is dedicated to creating healthier, stronger and safer communities for the people of Haringey.
We are now looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our successful ABC Parents Programme on a full-time basis for a fixed term contract until 31st March 2024, with the possibility of extension.
- Salary of £26,856 £30,079 per annum
- 25 days' holiday, plus Bank Holidays

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented project co-ordinator from a health, social care or voluntary and community sector background with volunteer management expertise to step into an exciting and engaging role with our committed charity.

The Role
As a Project Co-ordinator, you will support the delivery of our ABC Parents Programme.
The programme empowers and supports families from the most deprived areas in Enfield and Haringey, aiming to increase their confidence and enhance the use of services across health and social care.
Alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you'll co-ordinate the delivery of child health workshops, events and peer-to-peer support networks for parents. You'll recruit and manage volunteers, enabling them to provide support to other parents in their communities.You'll oversee the Outreach & Engagement Officer, promoting events, ensuring maximum attendance and implementing appropriate accessibility measures.
Additionally, you will:
- Liaise with ABC Parents Clinical Leads, Child Health Champions Lead, Health Visitors and other staff volunteers
- Book venues and organise travel
- Signpost and support families to opportunities in the community
- Maintain documentation and reports
To be considered as a Project Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Experience of project co-ordination in complex and challenging environments
- Experience in the public health, social care or voluntary and community sector
- Experience of managing and motivating high performing teams of volunteers
- Experience of organising and coordinating workshops
- Knowledge of health inequality issues faced by disadvantaged people
- Good knowledge and understanding of key legal and policy areas including confidentiality and data protection, safeguarding, health and safety and equality, diversity and inclusion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT proficiency
- A relevant professional qualification, or equivalent experience
