UnionLine is a law firm owned by two of the UK's leading trade unions and operates in Scotland as UnionLine Scotland.

Job description
UnionLine Scotland deals almost exclusively in personal injury and employment law work. The Glasgow city centre firm acts for a number of major trade union clients.

UnionLine Scotland is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to work primarily in our employment department but also assist in our personal injury department when required.

The successful applicant will have the following key attributes:

• Experience as a legal secretary
• Audio typing skills
• The ability to work on their own initiative
• A good telephone manner and ability to deal sensitively with clients
• Be a good team worker
• Experience of case management systems is an advantage but training will be give
• It would be beneficial to have a good knowledge and understanding of preparing employment documents and papers but not essential.

Proposed hours of work - 35

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. UnionLine Scotland offers an excellent benefits package.
