*ITS CONSTRUCTION* are hiring

Our client is in need of a Document Controller for a construction site located in Abergavenny. Hours will be 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Thursday & 09:00 -16:00 on a Friday


Location:

Contract Length: 1 year


Salary:
Negotiable

*Document Controller Responsibilities (CDE/Viewpoint/4P)

(Viewpoint Training to be provided for new staff, where all expected will be explained)

  • Check CDE (Viewpoint) Daily, Review the project dashboard and review documents and drawings for compliance against British Standards, issue into workflows for designer review. Manage review process within BEP timescales chasing where necessary.
  • Review Project Directory to ensure no documents have been uploaded incorrectly.
  • Keep Site Drawing/Day File up to date.
  • Print drawings for review by design manager placing into incoming trays.
  • Manage incoming drawings for review with the site team however the site manager and design team see fit.
Other duties may include;

  • Following company document control procedures and suggest improvements where relevant.
  • Producing document issue reports for senior management meetings
  • Assisting in the population of operation and maintenance manuals
  • Filing completion and QA certification for building manuals.
*Site Administration responsibilities:


  • Weekly

  • Update fire attendance registers to include new staff on site these are scanned and saved on SIMS
  • Original to be retained


  • Weekly

  • Scan POWRAS save to SIMS file in subcontractors folder


  • Weekly
- collect all permits from permit trays


  • Weekly

  • Delivery notes update spreadsheet, scan and file
  • Save to Sims
  • Liaise with cleaners and order cleaning products
  • Print/Create site signage and laminate as and when requested.
  • Order stationary/PPE as and when required.
  • General Office Duties
  • Meetings Preparation including refreshments
*MSITE*- Set up new contractors coming to site BEFORE they arrive

  • Advise new contractor of how to invite workers to complete their information and prebook induction
  • THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE WORKERS ATTEND INDUCTION
  • Run induction report each morning and give to whoever is completing site inductions
  • Mark attendees as inducted
You also be expected to assist with site inductions as well as complete monthly SHE data reports.
