Room Leader - Level 3 or above, Early Years

Hourly rate range £9.50£10.50
4 x 10 hour shifts on set days.
Holidays 5.6 weeks inclusive of bank holidays.

Come and work with us We are looking for an outstanding Room Leader to join our lovely team. You must have strong leadership skills and the ability to develop staff within your team. Being a team player and adaptable are essential skills for this role. We want someone who can motivate others and role model outstanding practise.
You will need a warm smiley face that makes every child feel special and loved.

You will need to be able to get stuck in to messy play of all descriptions from gloop to mud to jelly play You don't have to be able to sing in tune but out of tune is a must, especially in front of a crowd.

You must be able to distribute warm hugs when required.

Bring fun fun and more fun leave your inhibitions at home Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to so many children and their families.

Essential Room Leader qualities:

Level 3 or above with 2 years leadership experience
A sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Excellent team player
Good time keeper
Professional attitude and work ethic
Excellent motivator
To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care
To deputise for the Nursery managers as and when required
Previous experience in a room leader role
Passion for working with children and a willingness to learn
To be a role model to the staff team, be able to showcase high quality practice with regards to individual, and group work with children, dealing with parents and staff issues when they arise.
