An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical fellow (middle grade) to join our Vascular Surgery Department at Bournemouth's University Hospitals Dorset.

This post is due to commence in October 2023 for 1 year fixed term contract initially, but with scope to extend longer term.

- including examinations, courses, conferences and longer term scope for CESR if desired.


Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Daily ward rounds and support wardbased foundation year doctors, junior clinical fellows and nurse practitioners
  • Outpatient clinics new and followup patients
  • Theatre, day case and interventional radiology access
  • Participation in teaching and training (FY's, medical students and nursing staff)
  • Middle grade on call rota panspecialty
