The Livermead House Hotel is looking for a Head Kitchen Porter to join our renowned kitchen team.

Previous experience of supervision would be important, someone who is a team player, able to stay calm at busy periods, and a 'can-do' personality is essential.

This role requires the job holder to;

Supervise and support the kitchen team in doing all aspects of the work
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times
Support the team with washing all cooking utensils, pots and crockery through the day as required
Manage the chemical and disposables supplies
Manage the refuse and recycling store to keep organised and tidy
Unloading deliveries
Maintain a clean, organised work environment
Kitchen close down at the end of the day
Supervisory skills
Good work ethic, reliable and take pride in work
High standards of work set for the team, and excellent attention to detail
Enjoy working as part of a team in a busy fast paced environment
Flexible in relation to the days and hours of work, with split shifts
Previous experience working within a similar environment
Smart appearance, and ability to stay calm at busy times

This role does involve working weekends and bank holidays and involves split shifts ( each shift is normally 4 hours.

Job Types:

Salary:
£10.42-£11.44 per hour
