The role of the Housekeeper is to ensure the building itself and cleaning services offered to tenants that reside at TheStudios are completed in satisfactory condition.

Initially 3 months maternity cover at 30 hours per week, then reducing to a permanent 18 hours per week contract.

Hours of work between 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday with alternative Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

To perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuuming
Wipe down surfaces bathroom/kitchens
To ensure all rooms are serviced and inspected according to standards
To protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
To notify maintenance team and manager of any damages, deficits and disturbances within the studios where cleaning takes place
Check stock levels and place orders when appropriate
To adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
To empty and remove communal waste

- maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements

Responsible to the Facilities Manager

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
Customer friendly
Prioritization and time management skills
Knowledge of English language
Integrity & honesty

Coshh Awareness
Working at height
Manual handling
Fire Warden Training
Any other training identified by Line Manager related to the role

Must live local to Wolverhampton WV1

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Contract length: 9 months

Salary:
£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
