Description

Due to continued company expansion we have a vacancy for an experienced Powder Coater to join our team. 2 years experience (min) is required.

Due to increased demand, we have set up a brand new shot blasting and powder coating facility in a 10,000 sq ft facility.

All equipment is state-of-the-art and is less than 2 years old.

The scope of works is varied but mainly concentrates on the preparation and powder coating of fabricated products.

Reporting to the General Manager the main duties and responsibilities include the following:

Responsibilities and Duties

Pretreatment / prep
Powder coating to a high standard
Hanging parts
Wrapping and packing
Quality inspections

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall objectives of the business.

Essential Requirements
-
2 years experience of powder coating:

Hard working and willing to learn
Flexible working hours (to suit customer needs) overtime when required

Desirable

Fork lift truck licence (training can be provided)
Powder coating experience (not essensial training can be given)

You will also be required to adhere to the companies Health and Safety policy and quality management system.

Vibrant Coatings is a sister company to Yaplex Ltd who design and manufacture of standard and bespoke lifting and material handling solutions.

We provide innovative lifting, automation and handling solutions for improving productivity, health & safety and for improving ergonomics in the workplace.

Our UK headquarters and manufacturing facility is based in Clay Cross, Chesterfield. Occupying a total of 24,000 sq/ft, our production facility is accredited to ISO Quality Management System. All equipment is manufactured to the highest standards using high tech production methods and state of the art machinery. Both quality and health and safety are our top priority.

Due to recent expansion and investment, Vibrant Coatings Ltd is was formed by Yaplex to provide shot blasting and powder coating services to the parent company and offer sub-contract services to the local area.

Further Information
40 hours / week + overtime (as and when required)

3% contributory pension

Job Types:

Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour
