IQVIA is proud to be recruiting for a Clinical Product Specialist working within IQVIA's MedTech division, you will be dedicated to our client - one of the world's most highly respected healthcare companies - within their specialist Sports Medicine division in the following territory.
Territory - South Yorkshire area across to Lincolnshire coast.
In this interesting customer focussed (but non-sales) position, you will provide ongoing support and training to surgeons and their teams in theatre, and throughout the wider hospital setting, for an enviable portfolio of products used in mínimally invasive surgery in the treatment of joint injuries related to sports and physical activity, as well as degenerative tissue conditions.
The products include visualisation and access solutions as well as fixation products for soft tissue repair and to reattach tissue to bone.
Day to day activities include:
- Attending surgical procedures, providing verbal technical support and guidance to surgeons and their teams regarding use of products and techniques throughout
- Building trusted longterm relationships with key clinical stakeholders within the hospital, including surgical teams, nursing and other theatre staff, theatre managers and stores
- Help to develop business in existing accounts and assist with converting new accounts
- Organising regular customer meetings and training sessions
- Performing stock checks and ensuring timely delivery of products
- Attending company medical education events
- Collaborating and sharing information with your Sales Specialist colleague**Please note you will work alongside a Sales Specialist (your territory partner) who will focus on generating new business, whilst you ensure all customers are appropriately trained and facilitate the smooth running of the account, building relationships and providing outstanding service. These are full time roles requiring 5 days per week working on site in your allocated hospital accounts.
- Theatre nurse or ODP looking for a new way of utilising their skills and experience in a commercial organisation
- Someone with theatre product sales experience seeking a training, service and relationship driven role without the accompanying sales targets
- Specific experience within orthopaedics would be beneficial but is not essential.
All applicants must also:
- Hold a full UK driving license (with no more than 6 points)
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a determined and resilient approach, with a strong work ethic.
