Job Introduction:


Due to the business unit growth in the Essex area, Colas UK Projects are recruiting for a Planner to provide planning management and support to both the pre-contract and contract operations for the business and coordinate with bid and construction teams to manage and control the planning and programming aspects of bid proposals and projects in progress.

You will provide planning and programming knowledge, developing an accurate assessment of sequence, methodology and time.


Main Responsibility:

The Planner will initially support projects in Essex and be flexible to support other schemes when required.

The Planner will be overseeing the programming and planning of improvement to A roads, which includes the widening of carriageways, reconfiguration of roundabouts, and enhancement of footways and cycleways.

Encompassing site clearance, ducting, drainage and attenuation, earthworks, kerbing, pavements and surfacing works, lighting, signals and signage, and landscaping works.
