The role involves working with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis or a small group supporting their learning, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
A desirable special educational needs teaching assistant should have:- Experience working in a SEN environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathetic and nurturing characteristics
- High expectations of the children in their care
The special educational needs teaching assistant role includes:
- Providing 1:1 support
- Delivering group activities from the teachers planning
- Preparing and setting up resources
- Using your own initiative
- Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children
As a special educational teaching assistant, you require:
- An enhanced Child Workforce DBS
- we can process one for you.
- Registered with the EWC we can help with your registration.
- 2 years of professional references
- A Right to Work documentation.

£86.00-£90.00 per day
