Job Description:

AECOM is a worldwide leader in environmental and engineering consulting.

As a social and market research specialist within AECOM means access to some of the highest profile and prestigious projects in the UK, working with colleagues operating at the cutting edge of their disciplines.


You will be working on high quality and robust research projects central and local government bodies conducting research that will be used to inform policy decisions and drive change.

You will also have a leading role in growing AECOM's social and market research offer and contribute to the development of innovative approaches for our clients.


Your workload will be diverse and interesting, and you will be given the opportunity to make the most of your abilities.

You will work on a wide variety of projects including those requiring quick turnaround for example to help our clients respond to changing government policy or unforeseen events to more long-term tracking projects which help our clients plan.

Our projects are both Qualitative and Quantitative in nature and use a range of methodologies.

The role would suit a self-motivated individual with good attention to detail who can be flexible and to undertake a range of different tasks.


_ PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES_
You will be joining a market leading, experienced team, with support available to grow into your role.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Survey and methodology design.
  • Quality assurance and data management.
  • Ensuring MRS and GDPR guidelines are followed to ensure high quality data is produced.
  • Contributing to business development activities.
  • Establish strong working relationships and successfully collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM.
  • Data analysis, reporting and providing insight to our clients.
  • MS Office (PPT, XLS), ideally, you will have experience with software such as SPSS or Power BI.
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multitask.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

_**- You should be willing to work both in quantitative and qualitative research although preferences for just quantitative could be accommodated.


  • Proven experience of data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • You should demonstrate enthusiasm for market research with a focus on infrastructure, behavior change and environment, be conscientious, well organised and a team player.
  • For this rewarding position you will have strong written, numerical, analytical and communication skills.

Degree or above in relevant field such as Social Science, Market Research, Geography (Human), Business, Marketing, Statistics and/ or relevant MRS qualifications.
