The Hiring Heroes are proudly recruiting on behalf of a well established company in Bradford and _THE market leader_ in manufacturing of their products

They are looking for a hard working and dedicated individual to join their team working a hybrid role.

70:30 Forklift driving/production operative.

Responsibilities

All Production Operatives are requested to assist in any of the department areas _Raw materials_, _Warehouse, Pre-Weigh, Mixing, Sieving, Packing and Cleaning_
Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize workload
As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for the transportation of goods and pallets around a warehouse
Ensure smooth running of production departments
Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
Moving palletpacked materials around the site or storage facility
Implement new ideas/methods and continue to seek ways of both improving the departments contribution to the Company's goals and enhancing the reputation
Help with stocktakes
Label printing
Move, load, unload, count and organise inventory
Cleaning procedures on machinery and equipment
Maintain the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards and good manufacturing practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment
Operate sit and ride cleaner
Follow health and safety policies and promote safety awareness
Staff will also carry out such additional or alternative tasks as the Company may from time to time reasonably require and be required to participate in any training deemed necessary by the Company to properly perform their duties.

About You

You must be able to
read and understand a good level of English for health and safety reasons. This is also important as you will need to follow operating instructions on machinery/equipment and instructions on computer touch screens.
Someone with initiative.
Must have an in date FLT license.
Someone that can commit to both shifts.
Someone that wants strong progression within a company.

Other Opportunities
There are opportunities to drive company forklift trucks and motorised pallet trucks. In-house training will be provided.

For the right, dedicated person, there is also opportunities for progression in this company

Hours
Working hours are
6.30am - 3pm or 8.50am - 5.20pm.

They work on a rotational basis, so one week on earlies then the next week on lates and so on.

(If you are on the late shift on a Friday the hours are (8am - 4.30pm).

There are 2 breaks on each shift, one 30 minute unpaid lunch break and one 20 minute paid break. Total working hours for the week is 40 hours.

Pay
Starting rate is
£10.42ph.

From £10.42 per hour
