South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) has a vacancy for a Pharmacy Support Worker based at our Medicines Distribution Centre in Paddock Wood.
The Pharmacy team at the Medicines Distribution Centre provides essential support to frontline ambulance operations and Pharmacy Support Workers play a key role in providing medicines pouches for use by frontline staff.
The Medicines Distribution Centre operates across two shifts and and as a Pharmacy Support Worker you will work a fixed shift pattern covering either early or late shifts Monday - Friday - five days per week.

- Compliance with the Trust's Medicines Policy and relevant
- Preparation of the Trusts medicines packs according to the
managing such processes in line with the medicines packing
process.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work under
to a recall.
- Help to ensure that the Trust is compliant with the legal and
medicines storage and packing activities.
- Participate in Quality Assurance of the packing processes and
- Maintain a near miss log and support in incident investigation
- Contribute to guiding new staff in induction training, and contribute
Medicines management and governance across the Trust.
- Ensure continued supply of stocked medicines packs are ready for
service.
- Contribute to the stock control within the department, including
discrepancies, being proactive in ensuring that urgently required
drugs are sourced.
- Assist the Medicines Distribution Centre Manager, Medicines Lead Paramedic and Chief Pharmacist on all matters relating to medicines
