About Our Client:

My client is a UK higher, further education and skills sectors' not-for-profit organisation for digital services and solutions.

  • Liaising with business process owners on the data protection aspects of business initiatives and activities including carrying out prescreening, reviewing Processing Activity Capture Forms (PACF's), carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments, identifying privacy risks and mitigations, and updating the Record of Processing Activity (ROPA)
  • Acting as data protection SME for transformation and other projects, providing tailored, practical data protection advice and guidance to the project team(s) to ensure privacy by design and default is factored into the project(s)
  • Monitoring compliance and data practices internally to ensure business areas and functions comply with the applicable requirements under the UK GDPR and other relevant legislation

The Successful Applicant:


  • Demonstrable experience of supporting and developing data protection processes and organisational policy recommendations
  • Proven experience of advising on data protection projects for business areas
  • Ability to support with a broad range of complex activities as described in the data protection work programme
  • Experience of building strong relationships and networks
