We have an exciting vacancy for a Clinical Fellow within Medical Microbiology at our University College Hospital site for 6 months starting August 15th2023.
This an opportunity to join a dynamic department with input into specialist haematology, oncology, neurology and neurosurgical services as well as liaison with general medical, surgical and paediatric departments within a London teaching hospital.
This clinical fellow post-holder will provide clinical support to departmental consultants through delivery of key services in clinical microbiology.
The post-holder will also have access to the resources and opportunities that are available to specialist trainees in the department, which is part of the 'Bloomsbury hub' for training in infection in London.
The Department of Clinical Microbiology offers a wide range of experience to train Medical Microbiology/Virology/Infectious Diseases Specialist Registrars to the standards required Core and Higher Specialty Infection Training for the Part 1 and Part 2 FRCPath examinations.
