Purpose of the job - An enthusiastic person who is responsible for the ongoing Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service and delivery for both potential and existing learners, particularly 18-24 year old's who are NEET, advising on progression routes, careers and courses.
Your role includes but not limited to:
- Helping to raise expectations and aspirations of learners / potential learners, to enthuse, motivate and create opportunities for learning and engagement.
- Conduct IAG sessions for potential and existing learners, particularly those who are aged 1824 and have been referred to our programs.
- Sign up learners on to our programs and complete action plans, ensuring all paperwork is complete as per the standards required and in a timely manner.
- Carry out midpoint and end of program reviews with learners
- Assist with recruiting learners on to our programs
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a particular focus on Safeguarding.
- To stay up to date with labour market information (including OFSTED requirements for IAG delivery) and attend careers fairs
Requirements:
- Experience of delivering IAG for learning and work opportunities
- Experience of working with 1824 year old's who are NEET / at risk of becoming NEET.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent and Equal Opportunities
- A minimum level 3 IAG qualification
- A strong command of the English language, with excellent communication skills.
- A current enhanced DBS
Job Types:

Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
£12.00-£12.50 per hour

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
