JOB TITLE:
Ecommerce SEO Lead


ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working within our Online team to deliver Asda's SEO strategy and execution.

Overseeing onsite & off-site SEO activity, liaising with technical and content teams, and leveraging an agency partner to deliver growth.


ABOUT YOU:
A flare for SEO, performance driven mind-set and a love of online is essential.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


We have an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of developing Asda's SEO (search engine optimisation) strategy and execution.

As Asda's SEO lead, working as part of Ecommerce, you'll be responsible for defining our approach to SEO and delivering organic visibility across core events and categories.

The role represents an opportunity to shape SEO at Asda, and deliver core SEO growth metrics. Building cross - function relationships is a core part of this role - working with analytics, marketing, PR, development and our SEO agency, to name a few


YOU:

- _A love of online & SEO_
- _Comfortable spotting and acting on opportunities. _
- _At least 2 years' experience in Organic Search, with a proven track record for delivering growth in traffic, rankings, site speed etc. _
- _Technical SEO & basic levels of Web Development, HTML/CSS/JavaScript._
- _Copywriting skills._
- _Google Analytics & Google Search Console._
- _Experience with SEO/Organic SaaS & tools._
- _Data & Reporting skills _
- _Local search optimisation, Google Maps etc._
