Description
Position Objectives:
The tutoring coordinator is to be experienced in 11+/ GCSE/ A-Level tutoring with a proven track records and a detailed understanding of the UK tutoring industry.
To contribute to the operations department of the tutoring centre so that it realises its potential and delivers and excellent service in the full portfolio of tutoring services.
The key tasks include but are not limited to:

Tutor management_ - Vet and recruit staff to deliver courses& mentor newly recruited teaching staff
- Establish robust means for recruiting appropriate tutors of all levels
- Achieve and maintain a high level of teaching quality
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all teaching staff
- Provision of ongoing tutor support
School development_
- Diversify school's classes and services and build& maintain students' and tutors' pools
- Understand the trend of tutoring industry and drive the development of the school
- Consolidate the students' and parents' needs and assist the line manager to develop further services
-_Class management*_
- Monitor and maintain the lesson timetable, assign tutor responsibilities appropriately
- Administer student placement procedures to ensure students are studying at appropriate levels
- Students and parents communications_
- Organise, collate and summarise feedback from students and tutors, formulating actions points as required
- Contribute to marketing school's products by providing materials and consultation required by the recruitment team
Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
- Knowledge and experience in teaching in high school/ college is advantageous and tutoring experience for 11+/ GCSE/ A-Level students is highly advantageous.
- Management experience in tutoring setting is highly advantageous.
- Have a university degree in the relevant discipline, a master/ higher degree would be highly advantageous
- Good command of verbal and written Chinese (Mandarin) is highly advantageous
- Be able to demonstrate initiative to develop and improve services.
- Be able to meet targets and deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Be a committed team player but also be dependable enough to work individually with minimum supervision.
- Be responsible, mature, organised, and honest.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
