Project Manager £39,275 - £45,000


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Lead on writing the business case to meet size and shape and targeting growth.
  • Coordinate the size and shape of the project, managing it's dependencies.
  • Manage the daytoday drive of project activity, checking progress and motivating individuals to achieve their objectives.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in order to develop detailed plans, monitor and report progression and ensure activity remains on track.
  • Support Senior Staff members to establish the appropriate staffing model.
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate project documentation eg. Project briefs, project plans, risk registers, communication plans etc.
  • Coordinate financial management of ongoing projects, business case drafting etc.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to plan and support project events.
  • Liaise with project members and relevant communications staff to ensure that communications are timely, relevant and engaging.
  • Support the development of project management capability internally.
  • Coordinate project closure and lessons learnt reviews, highlighting considerations and recommendations as appropriate.

Personal Specification:


  • Experience in supporting interlinked projects for delivery under a single project, driving day to day activity forward and monitoring progress.
  • Experience of working within a change programme environment (desirable).
  • Demonstrable experience in all phases of the project management lifecycle.
  • Able to combine personal and technical project management techniques and tools to achieve desired project objectives, engage people and manage relationships.
  • Highly effective interpersonal, influencing and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Adapts to a variety of team environments and fosters constructive team relationships.
  • Identifies innovative solutions to problems to bring a wider benefit to the organisation.
  • Research skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
