Description

My client is looking for a Warehouse Picker/Packer to join their rapidly expanding company on a temporary basis.

A family run company based in Erdington, Birmingham, your duties will include the following:

Night Shifts: 4pm to 1am - £10p/h
- x2
Day Shifts: 8am 4.30pm - £9.50 p/h

Full training provided
28day pro rata holiday a year

Ongoing temporary roles with a view to go permanent

Responsibilities
Picking orders using scanning equipment to ensure total accuracy.
Packing orders using the correct packaging material, scanning orders in preparation for despatch.
Working to achievable targets based on productivity and quality.
In some areas, you may be responsible for replenishment of stock to ensure stock is always available.
Ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met at all times.
Undertaking cross training in other departments where required.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Preferred Skills
Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative is desired
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
To ensure adherence to Health and Safety policy and practices at all times.

Personal Attributes
Confident and willing to work. You'll need to be a reliable co-worker and team player.

You need to be a dedicated and hard worker who is used to working in a fast-paced environment where good attention to detail is essential.

Flexibility is required to workinghours as shift work is required.
