Position:
Warehouse Operative


Reports to:
Warehouse Supervisor


Role Overview:

You will be based at our NAL site in Worcester, responsible for picking, packing and assembling of the products for the customers and supporting the Operations team in delivering the performance and business objectives.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Liaising with couriers and transport companies
  • Unloading vehicles
  • Loading vehicles
  • Checking off and booking in goods received
  • Stacking/storing stock
  • Carrying out product modifications
  • Assembling products
  • Painting temporary foundations
  • Keeping warehouse, break room, offices, toilets, and yard clean and tidy
  • Administration of relevant paperwork
  • Setting up demo days and assisting in demo's if required
  • Stocktaking
  • Stock location checks
  • Work within site Health and Safety rules
  • General duties as and when required

Associated Responsibilities:


  • Other Warehouse associated duties as deemed necessary
  • Maintenance of housekeeping standards

Key Performance Indicators:


  • Maintenance of Assembly standards
  • Reduction of picking errors
  • Good Timekeeping and Attendance
  • Completion of Daily FLT Checks
  • Maintenance of a high standard of housekeeping

Experience and Training:


  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, manufacturing (preferable) environment
  • 2 years' of Warehouse experience, picking and packing
  • Assembly and Goods In experience is desirable
  • Banksman Training is desirable
  • First Aid Training is desirable
  • Fire Marshall Training is desirable

Essential Criteria:


  • Minimum of five GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English
  • Counterbalance FLT license
  • A3 Conversion license is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and be resilient
  • Full UK driving license
