We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our committed Stump Grinding Team.

You will either already be familiar with stump grinding machinery or have experience in a related industry; operating machinery on site and on private property.

You will also have a track record of organised and tidy work and have demonstrated you can look after the machinery and vehicles you are using.

If this is you, and you are trustworthy, accountable, presentable, responsible, cheerful, polite, and helpful to customers, and can also work alone and as part of a team, and are able to work full-time in a physically demanding outdoor environment we would like to hear from you.

A Typical Day:

Your day-to-day activities will involve:

• Driving business vehicles to sites and being punctual and polite.
• Operating a stump grinder to a high level, after training.
• Clearing up when the work is done leaving the customer's site tidy.
• Daily machine inspections, (oil, filters, bearings, etc.)
• Weekly maintenance, washing vehicles, etc.
• Updating paperwork for customers and the business on a daily basis.

What You Need:

• We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a full UK driving licence.
• A competent person who can work alone, also uses own initiative where problems may occur.
• Motivated to work to a high standard and passionate about contributing to/ being a part of a growing business.
• Willing to promote the company in a positive way, where appropriate.

£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
