We're looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic PR Intern to join our PR team in Bath, to work across the agency's roster of cycling and triathlon clients.

As part of the PR team you will provide assistance on campaign management & reporting, product launches and media outreach day-to-day.

You'll be supporting the team to think about and deliver innovative story angles to engage journalists, whilst helping to ensure all media coverage is collated on behalf of our clients and reported in a timely manner.

You will report into the PR Manager and will have lots of opportunities to develop your own particular skills and interests - whether that be PR writing, media relations, events or otherwise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the implementation of PR projects across the board
• Support PR account leads on the monitoring and collation of media coverage and pulling this together into regular client reports.
• Support the team on global media outreach, ensuring key journalists have received the information and products they need to secure positive reviews.
• Updating media lists and other key internal documents.
• Build and maintain strong media relationships that help the team deliver coverage for our range of clients.
• Help to proactively generate story angles that can be pitched into media.
• Support in sourcing and monitoring of influencers/ambassadors.
• Support in the planning, organisation and onsite management of media events where needed.
• Over time, build and maintain strong client relationships to assist the account activity.

You'll have a strong desire to break into the world of PR with a proactive approach and a can-do attitude.

You'll be a strong writer and communicator with the ability to work within a close-knit team. In time, you'll be able to converse with journalists, clients and colleagues at all levels of the business.

You have excellent organisational skills, an interest in media & communications, and you relish the opportunity to work in a fast-growing, fun, sporty agency environment.
