As a Senior Administrator, within the Health Research Institute, you will work as part of a small, dynamic team, providing high-quality administrative support for two prestigious National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded projects:

  • The impact of interactive electronic devices: understanding the mechanisms of benefits and harms on young children's development, behaviour and health outcomes using a multimethod approach.
  • Community-Supported Physical Activity through Co-production in people with Severe mental illness (Co-SPACES).


You will also be Research Excellence Framework (REF) administrator for Unit of assessment 3: Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy and have excellent administrative and communication skills, contributing to research support, service development and continual improvement; with the agility to work across different areas and projects as the need arises.


Additionally, you will have excellent attention to detail and experience of working in a professional, externally facing office / customer-focused environment.

You will be proficient in Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams, and confident working with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, and have an initiative-taking and organised approach to workloads.


The post is situated within the support team for the Centre for Applied Health and Social Care Research, Collegiate Campus.
