Description

We are looking to expand our team and looking for Cleaners with a genuine interest in this role, we employ on a permanent basis and it can work well around other jobs.

Roundswell area, from 5pm Monday to Friday.

References and DBS Checks will be sought.

Additional hours can be offered at various sites in the Barnstaple area for those looking for more hours.

General duties will include:

Keyholding and setting security alarms
Disinfecting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping
Waste and recycling duties
Maintaining your stock and replenishing washroom supplies and ordering
Keeping the stock cupboard clean and tidy
Laundering cloths
Working in a safe manner and using chemicals as directed and following the safety data instructions
General maintenance duties with work equipment e.g changing a vacuum bag
Report to your Supervisor or Manager

You do not need a specific qualifications or experience but some of the general skills that a good Cleaner should possess are:

Good interpersonal and Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors
Physical abilities and stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry objects for extended periods of time
High level of Attention to detail: Ability to thoroughly clean and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Good organisational abilities and time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
Reliability
Trustworthy
Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
Positive and approachable manner
Team player qualities : Collaborate with coworker's to ensure efficient cleaning operations
Enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge

Cleaners are often required to work before the business opens or after it closes so shift patterns are often shorter shifts and can include days, evenings and weekends.

Shift patterns can work extremely well for those who have home and family commitments providing a career that enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Note:
Previous experience as a cleaner is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
