About Us - Established in 2000 as a H, S & E and Training Consultancy, Advance Group UK Ltd has expanded to also provide Specialist Construction related services to its existing and new clients in the Gas, Oil, Mechanical, Civil, process and Pipeline SectorsWe are seeking an experienced Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor for a temporary full time project based role.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in the execution of our project located in Grangemouth.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and maintaining method statements and risk assessments
Preparing reports, presentations, and other SHEQ information as directed by the Client / Project Management
Monitoring of site operations against project SHEQ documentation and other SHEQ requirements
Undertaking health, safety and environmental audits and inspections
Providing advice and support to project staff in relation to project, company and Client SHE requirements
Identifying SHE consents / permits or exemptions that are required and ensuring they are obtained
Implementing project SHEQ campaigns and improvement plans in conjunction with the SHEQ Manager
Collating and submitting monthly project SHEQ statistics in a timely manner
Client liaison including definition / clarification of SHEQ requirements
Identification and resolution of environmental / health and safety issues
Undertaking accident / incident investigations as required in accordance with the Company procedure
Undertaking project site inductions and other training as required
Supervision of subcontractors where appropriate
Qualifications / Skills
Previous experience as a SHE advisor, Health & Safety, or similar position
Relevant SHE qualification(s) e.g. NEBOSH construction certificate or equivalent
Experience within civil engineering or construction sector
Strong knowledge of SHE legislation, regulations, and relevant codes
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels
Competent in the use of MS package (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.)
Full UK Driving Licence & flexible with travel
Duration - project term, projected 6 months

Pay:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
