Steps Ahead is looking for Nursery Assistants
To assist qualified staff in carrying out the following duties: Training will be given.

• Care and education of children in a base room
• Providing a broad range of experiences for children
• Embrace all cultures and individual child learning requirements
• To work well within a team of staff in the room
• Liaising with parents
• Identify children's individual development needs, Next Steps, Planning and Tracking
• Assess and react appropriately at all times to Safeguarding and Behavioural needs of children
• Follow and implement all requirements of the EYFS 202
• Follow and implement all Nursery Policies
• Embrace and encourage children in outdoor learning

Applicants should have:

Steps Ahead nursery has a strong training ethos and staff are expected to embrace all training opportunities offered to them to enhance their own practice.

Hours: 18 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, either 8am to 2pm, or 9am to 3pm daily. (More hours may be available if required)
