£10.61 per hour | Temporary | Holsworthy


Do you have experience in Administration? Are you experienced in Bookkeeping and VAT returns? We have a great opportunity based in Holsworthy for a dual-focused role, as a Building Society Clerk providing administration across the Building Society agencyand reception.

This is a Temporary position providing Maternity cover, with potential to be taken on permanently.


Building Society Clerk Responsibilities:


  • Managing customer accounts, processing transactions and handling money transfers
  • Promoting and selling the agencies services and products
  • Summarising bank accounts, preparing VAT returns, liaising with HMRC
  • Dealing with internal and external communications in a timely and courteous manner
  • Providing cover for all admin tasks

Building Society Clerk Requirements:


  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
  • Previous experience in Administration, Cashier's role, Bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Xero, QBO or cloud based accounting packages would be desirable
  • Great communication skills
