The Alternatives Client Services (ACS) team support all of BlackRock's privately placed alternatives products, including hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private credit, private equity, and real asset funds from the time of investor onboarding throughout thelife cycle of the fund.

ACS is primarily responsible for investor onboarding, report distribution, transfer agency oversight and investor queries as well as internal and external reporting and client data management.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating reporting for regulatory initiatives which involves assisting in determining methodology and process, sourcing and submitting data, and maintaining supporting documentation for regulatory filings.
  • Compiling reporting for filings such as AIFMD, Dodd Frank (Form PF/PQR), Form D/Blue Sky, and other relevant countryspecific regulations.
  • Participate in the research and implementation of new and revised reporting requirements, and/or the evaluation of regulatory requirements for new products/transactions
  • Ensure integrity of communications tools through data entry and maintenance. Deploy exception reporting within client data universe and perform regular analysis to ensure integrity/preservation.
  • Ensuring ACS team is entering and maintaining required data and attributes as part of client onboarding and account set up. Performing general data management on an ongoing basis.
Experience

  • Knowledge of backend databases and of financial operations and concepts a plus but not required.
  • Software skills must include a strong background in Excel and an aptitude for working within proprietary databases.
  • High attention to detail, ability to focus and take ownership of tasks until completion
  • The successful applicant will be selfmotivated, proactive and able to change directions quickly
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, at all levels
  • Ability to manage workload, multitask, balance multiple and conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced and changing environment

Our hybrid work model
