Maintenance Manager - Salary circa £50,000

Nigel Wright is pleased to be supporting a fast-paced manufacturing business, as they continue to invest in growth and new technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Manager with experience of managing, coaching or mentoring maintenance technicians within a manufacturing environment.

The Role
Key responsibilities as the Maintenance Manager are

Managing all plant and equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
Responsible for overhead and overtime costs, managing manpower budget
Drive and develop TPM improvements across site
Negotiate and manage all contracts and contractors
Plan and control capital expenditure projects
Establish procedures/ processes to support production improvements
Develop continuous improvement culture throughout department

Person Specification
The Maintenance Manager will have the following

HNC/ HND qualified within an engineering discipline
Worked in a Senior Maintenance position within a fastpaced manufacturing environment
Experience utilising continuous improvement tools and techniques
Managed, coached or mentored maintenance technicians
Strong communication skills, liaising effectively with senior management
